PhyloMarker is developed to find single copy nuclear gene markers for the inference of phylogeny. The website acts as a portal to access web tools and resources (including source code and candidate markers).

Both web and standalone PhyloMarker share the same core procedures. Web PhyloMarker is easy to use but with a size limitation of the input data (<10 MB). If your data files are large and need other options that are not offered with the web program, you are advised to run the standalone program.

A detailed README file is available in the Standalone Tool page. Sample files are provided for you to test both the web and standalone programs. PhyloMarker has been used to intron or exon markers in several vertebrate groups (See the Results page). If you are interested in using PhyloMarker or want to collaborate with us, please email us.
